For a second year, CDP accredits RyeStrategy a silver partner in its network of service providers

We are pleased to announce that RyeStrategy’s CDP-accreditation has been renewed as a 2024 CDP silver climate change consultancy partner. RyeStrategy is pleased to partner with CDP to continue delivering carbon management services and support to help companies, small and large, meet ambitious sustainability goals.

Established in 2000, CDP supports over 23,000 companies in climate action by running the global environmental disclosure system. With over $6.4 trillion in purchasing power, large enterprises, as well as small and medium-sized businesses, publicly report climate data and disclose sustainability action plans annually through CDP. CDP has grown to be one of the most trusted sustainability reporting platforms for businesses.

"I am excited to recognize RyeStrategy as a CDP accredited solutions provider for a second year,” expressed Jenny Frings, Head of Accredited Solutions Provider at CDP. “They continue to provide specialized, affordable carbon management solutions for small and mid-sized companies, especially suppliers to enterprise customers, supporting end-to-end environmental data disclosure and decarbonization initiatives. RyeStategy’s high touch, high quality services model enables SMBs to feel confident and empowered to pursue net zero initiatives, something CDP is thrilled to support through this formal accreditation.”

CDP accredits environmental service providers who can help to support companies in all aspects of their environmental journey, from climate-related scenario analysis to designing a strategy for a water-secure and deforestation-free future.

RyeStrategy assists small and medium-sized suppliers to major enterprises including Microsoft, Target, and AstraZeneca, as they navigate supplier sustainability disclosure requests from their customers. For many suppliers, especially SMBs navigating their first climate disclosure request, RyeStrategy removes the intimidation of these complex requests by providing a personalized approach, with real human guidance from friendly sustainability managers. Tonia Steed, Account Director at RedCloud, a long-time Microsoft supplier, described her experience, “Based on their small business expertise, I felt confident the RyeStrategy team could efficiently guide us through our first GHG inventory to get what we needed to fulfill Microsoft’s request.”

In addition to providing carbon accounting solutions to small and medium-sized organizations, RyeStrategy partners directly with enterprise sustainability and procurement leaders to create and manage programs that accelerate net zero progress by delivering scope 3 reduction results. Salesforce Senior Manager of Sustainable Procurement, Louisa McGuirk, shared her assessment of partnering with RyeStrategy on a first-of-its-kind Sustainability Accelerator, “RyeStrategy understood what we wanted to deliver and followed through with a reliable, approachable process for our SME vendors that was time and cost effective for us, too.”

Accredited providers help companies disclosing to CDP to identify the gaps in their environmental performance, address these gaps and identify further opportunities for becoming leaders in the corporate environmental action space. RyeStrategy looks forward to leveraging their 2024 CDP accreditation to expand their services and positive social impact to even more companies, no matter where they are in their climate journey.

Cooper Wechkin, RyeStrategy CEO and founder shared, "We are excited to share the news about renewing our accreditation with CDP as a solutions provider, reaffirming our commitment to enabling companies to implement and achieve ambitious sustainability initiatives. In partnership with CDP, we cannot wait to empower more businesses with the resources to navigate the corporate sustainability landscape."
