Mikaela is an energy & sustainability leader with more than a decade of experience integrating systems, policy, operations, corporate behavior, and engagement to achieve environmental, social, and governance (ESG) outcomes. Mikaela drives impact at the intersection of tactical execution and big-picture strategic thinking. Her approach centers the unique context of the organizations, their stakeholders, and the markets she’s serving to create mutually beneficial solutions and demonstrate the value of climate action. Her experiences span emerging companies to the world’s largest organizations.

In her current role at Microsoft, Mikaela is focused on the decarbonization of energy systems and securing clean, reliable energy for Microsoft’s datacenter operations. Mikaela holds an MBA and a BA in Environmental Studies from the University of Washington as well as a certificate in Sustainable Energy Solutions from Presidio Graduate School.
